How many stylists will I need for my event?

Accepted Answer

The number of stylists needed depends on the size of your party and the services requested.
 • For both hair and makeup, two stylists are required.
 • For hair-only or makeup-only services, one stylist can accommodate up to 5 services. For 6 or more, a second stylist will be provided.
The total prep time also plays a role. For example:
 • With 2 stylists and a 2-hour window, we can accommodate up to 7 combined hair and makeup services.
 • With 1 stylist, we can complete up to 5 hair or makeup services in 2 hours.

Do you have a travel fee?

Accepted Answer

Our standard travel fee is a flat $100 per stylist, plus $1 per mile (round trip) from our salon to your venue.
For weddings located in Bondurant or Ankeny, Iowa, the travel fee is $50 per stylist.

Do you offer trials?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer trial appointments! A trial is included as part of your deposit once your wedding is officially booked.
If you prefer to schedule a trial before booking your wedding date, the cost is $50 for hair and $50 for makeup.

How far are you willing to travel?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We’re happy to travel anywhere within the Midwest.
For out-of-state or destination weddings, additional travel fees will apply. We're more than willing to travel outside the Midwest—simply cover our travel and lodging expenses, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Question 5

How do I ensure my date is secured?

Accepted Answer

To officially reserve your date, we require a $100 non-refundable deposit and a signed contract.
The deposit either covers the cost of your trial or is applied toward your final invoice. Once both the deposit and contract are received, your date is fully secured.

Question 6

Do you have a minimum of services per wedding party?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we require a minimum of 4 services (hair and/or makeup) to book wedding day services.
